We got up really early and caught a taxi to BWH. After a few tries, we found the U/S section and checked in. We had a very long ultrasound and the sproglet was moving all over the place and we even saw some thumb sucking. We also found out that it is going to be a ………. (ha ha ha).
We had a late breakfast at Au Bon Pain, which was edible but not particularly inspiring and headed back to Newbury St. In the afternoon, we had some great pizza at the Upper Crust on Newbury Street and then went for a walk along Newbury, through Boston Public Garden (seeing the Swan Boats) and Boston Common. Such a change of scenery from last December - the kids were all wading in the Frog Pond. We also saw a mounted Park Ranger. From there we walked to Downtown Crossing and then to Faneuil Hall & Quincy Market. Eventually, we took a taxi to Cambridgeside Galleria and did some more wandering around. We taxi back to hotel and relaxed for a while. Finally, we went to dinner at Charley’s, which was again very good.
